The program helps students develop digital and 21st century skills through hands-on learning, emerging technologies, and real-world applications that prepare them for the future.

Innovators of Tomorrow (IoT) is Muskaan Dreams’ future-focused program aimed at equipping students in government schools with 21st-century skills such as computing, coding, and artificial intelligence (AI). Designed for students in grades 6 to 8, the program aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s emphasis on experiential and technology-integrated learning to prepare students for the evolving digital economy.

The IoT program introduces students to foundational computing concepts through block-based coding platforms like Scratch and beginner-level AI tools, fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Through a hands-on, project-based approach, students not only learn how technology works but also how to apply it meaningfully to real-world scenarios.

In addition to direct student learning, IoT emphasizes teacher capacity-building, equipping educators with the skills and confidence to facilitate computing and AI education effectively in the classroom. This dual-focus approach ensures long-term sustainability, enabling schools to embed digital skill-building into their regular teaching practices.

By bridging the gap between traditional education and emerging technologies, Innovators of Tomorrow aims to create a future-ready generation of learners- particularly those in underserved communities- who can actively participate in and shape the digital future.

2.2 Project objectives & Implementation Strategy
Objectives-
Give exposure to students in the STEM and Computer science world.
Improve the career choices and exposure of students with rapidly evolving needs in the market.
Empower teachers with necessary skills and support to run programs in the future post our exit.

2.3 Project Goal

The goal of the project is to improve the career choices of students post 12th grade so that they can also become a part of the tech world with rapidly evolving digital technologies.

Why we do it?

Students often struggle to connect STEM concepts with real-world applications. The IoT program helps bridge this gap by introducing emerging technologies and hands-on learning, making STEM more relevant, engaging, and future-focused.

How do we do it?

The program equips public schools with digital infrastructure,curated content, and teacher training to integrate technology into
everyday STEM learning. Through interactive lessons and classroom support, students and teachers explore real-world applications
of technology.

What is the impact?

The IoT program strengthens students’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and digital literacy skills, while enabling teachers to adopt more engaging, technology-driven approaches to STEM education.

These classes made Computer Science my favourite subject in school. Every new activity encouraged me to create something on my own. We also participated in a state-level Hackathon, where we learned how to use AI, build prototypes, and work in teams. My team built a high-tech security alarm, and for the first time, I felt that technology was not just something I used, but something I could also build.
