Digital Classroom Programme

The concept of ‘Digital Classroom' is intended to introduce students to more modern ways of learning through Audio Visual aid. It makes learning fun and help in a better understanding of the subject and creates long term impact in the minds of students to retain the knowledge gained and hence perform well in examinations also. We have observed that a stimulating learning space such as a digital classroom not only enhances students’ learning experience but also helps teachers to better engage the students resulting in improvement in the learning outcomes, developing the child’s mind and in the overall psychological well- being of the child.

Teacher Capacity Building

The program enables the teachers of public schools in further strengthening the learning and development. We provide teachers additional training to enhance their existing skills and learn new skills such as leveraging digital tools. Our associates are closely working with teachers for two years and help them in supporting their efforts to improve classroom delivery and student outcomes. Teachers are one of the most important stakeholders in the school, we are also building the capacity of teachers in designing their stakeholder's engagement plan, goals, activities and appreciation. We believe in systematic change and it is the only solution for the long term impact and outcomes.

Youth Volunteers

The main objective is to bridge the gap for the unprivileged students and public school teachers to enable the teachers for more proficient in using IT tools for a better education. To realize this dream of providing better education, Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation works with a group of passionate young volunteers every year who are committed to working on bringing a change. These young volunteers are recruited from diverse colleges and corporate backgrounds to contribute their precious time and energy to bring the desired change. The teams are recruited and specially trained before they are assigned to live projects in the field. They induce their passion by supporting the dreams of children and guide them to excel. The additional impact that Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation have made through these volunteers is the improved basic infrastructure, community engagement and awareness campaigns in the rural areas. Our volunteers also get exposure to the ground realities of the education system which ultimately leads them to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mind-sets necessary to attain positions of leadership in the education system.

Theory of Change

Theory of Change

In order to build a community of leaders, Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation has developed a two-part theory of change.

In the short-term, through our digital learning classroom, we provide an opportunity to government teachers to teach children by using digital tools in their regular classroom sessions. It will help teachers to improve learning levels, engagement of children during class, attendance in the school and Digital awareness of children. In the long-term, our program associates are closely working with teachers throughout the year on a weekly basis in order to build capacity of teachers through training programs and activities. Through this experience of teachers training and working with key education stakeholders like students, principals, and officers, our associates get exposed to the grassroots realities of India’s education system and begin to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mind-sets necessary to attain positions of leadership in the education system and identify their role in building a larger movement for equity in education.

What’s different with Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation?

We all are aware with the premium models of digital learning tools available in the market since long time. Most of the digital models are designed for the urban private schools in a very high recurring cost. Government schools in India are still lagging behind in digital education because lack of content is available in local language and lack of contextualization in content. Also, level of children in urban and private schools are very different in terms of understanding, learning and we can’t use existing tools in government schools without contextualization. Our partner designed enjoyable content for the government schools children and our associates are closely working with teachers on a weekly basis for 2-3 years to improve their user experience and teaching method.

How It Works

Our Impact

Sustainable

Sustainable

  • After 2-3 years we do exit from school and ensure school functions remain the same with the help of existing stakeholders and community.

  • We track usage data of school after exit from school and quarterly visit of school to meet children and teachers to understand the on-going work or change happening after exit.

  • We provide call support to teachers in case of queries or help they can call to resolve the problem.
