We at Muskaan Dreams believe in transforming education in India through a holistic model that caters to students' digital access and capacity building, along with computer science and coding education. Our aim is to empower students and prepare them for the future by providing them with the necessary skills and tools to succeed in the digital age. Through initiatives like digital shaala, we provide students with digital access, which includes online learning resources, as well as other digital tools. We also work towards building the digital capacity of teachers in public schools, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective education. Furthermore, by bringing computer science and coding education to students, we aim to build future readiness and create innovators of tomorrow. Such initiatives are crucial in transforming education in India and building a better future for the next generation
The program enables the teachers of public schools in further strengthening the learning and development. We provide teachers additional training to enhance their existing skills and learn new skills such as leveraging digital tools. Our associates are closely working with teachers for two years and help them in supporting their efforts to improve classroom delivery and student outcomes. Teachers are one of the most important stakeholders in the school, we are also building the capacity of teachers in designing their stakeholder's engagement plan, goals, activities and appreciation. We believe in systematic change and it is the only solution for the long term impact and outcomes.
The main objective is to bridge the gap for the unprivileged students and public school teachers to enable the teachers for more proficient in using IT tools for a better education. To realize this dream of providing better education, Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation works with a group of passionate young volunteers every year who are committed to working on bringing a change. These young volunteers are recruited from diverse colleges and corporate backgrounds to contribute their precious time and energy to bring the desired change. The teams are recruited and specially trained before they are assigned to live projects in the field. They induce their passion by supporting the dreams of children and guide them to excel. The additional impact that Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation have made through these volunteers is the improved basic infrastructure, community engagement and awareness campaigns in the rural areas. Our volunteers also get exposure to the ground realities of the education system which ultimately leads them to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mind-sets necessary to attain positions of leadership in the education system.

आप जानते हो हैकर कौन होता है? During a field visit at #digitalshaala when Abhishek Dubey asked students what they want to become in life, one boy caught everyone's attention with his reply...Meet Shivam, a 9th-standard student who lives in the village of Piparsewa and wants to become a #hacker when he grows up.When he said, "मैं हैकर बनना चाहता हूँ".
There was pin-drop silence in the class. To double-check what we just heard, we asked him again, "आप जानते हो हैकर कौन होता है? he nodded in a yes. Excited, we asked him if he would like to tell his classmates the meaning of a hacker and what a hacker does.With a smile on his face he replied, "हैकिंग एक तकनिकी क्षमता है जिससे आप किसी के भी कंप्यूटर या स्मार्टफोन का इस्तेमाल बिना उनकी जानकारी के कर सकते है" he further added, "देश विदेश में कंप्यूटर वार्स होते है एक सक्षम हैकर देश को साइबर अटैक्स से बचा सकता है और मैं हैकर बन कर देश की सेवा करना चाहता हूँ" The entire class burst into applause.
We were keen to know more about him and as we spoke to Shivam, we realized his liking towards technology. We briefly touched upon big words like artificial intelligence, 5G, robotics and much more. He shared with us that he learnt about hacking through an elder in his community. With digital shaala, he feels more inclined to learn. ""मुझे टेक्नोलॉजी पसंद है, इसलिए स्मार्ट टी वी से पढ़ना ज़्यादा अच्छा लगता है" The best part? He is motivated to follow his dream.

What’s different with Muskaan Dream Creative Foundation?
We all are aware with the premium models of digital learning tools available in the market since long time. Most of the digital models are designed for the urban private schools in a very high recurring cost. Government schools in India are still lagging behind in digital education because lack of content is available in local language and lack of contextualization in content. Also, level of children in urban and private schools are very different in terms of understanding, learning and we can’t use existing tools in government schools without contextualization. Our partner designed enjoyable content for the government schools children and our associates are closely working with teachers on a weekly basis for 2-3 years to improve their user experience and teaching method.
